Why locals love it
Sevettijärvi Village attractions include the Skolt Sámi Traditional House. The main building is an old cottage house moved from Kirakkajärvi to the east of Lake Sevettijärvi. The Traditional House is now a museum, and the small structures in the quaint courtyard depict the former summer homes of the Scolt.
Why you should visit it
The Traditional House is a great place to visit on your way to Northern Norway. On weekdays there is a bus service from Inari to Sevettijärvi. The Kolttien Tradition House is open from 10 June to 20 September. There is free access to the Traditional House and a guided tour can be booked by a fee.
