Why locals love it
Ukko Island lies really close to the Inari Harbour. There are boat trips to this Island for a very interesting reason. The Island is an ancient Seita Place, meaning a place of God/s and a place of sacrifices. The nature trail travels to the top of the hill, where the ancient sacrifice place might have been.
Why you should visit it
In Finland there's many Seita places known to people but as this religion is pagan origin these places have never been marked into the maps or kept good condition for the worship.
