Another first time experience we enjoyed the most was the river rafting at Voidomatis River, about 40 kilimeters away from Ioannina. Why you should visit it
River Rafting is something to recall a lifetime! The rafting rout is about 6 kilometers long and Voidomatis is considered a mild river as it’s wide with lots of hiking paths at its banks. The river water is 4-6 meters deep at certain points but usually with a calm surface.

Make sure you wear the necessary gear that they will provide and pay close attention to your guide’s instructions.
