Emarat-e Namakdan ( in Inglish: Emarat means Mansion & Namakdan means saltcellar) is located at the southwest entrance of Naghsh-e Jahan square in Isfahan. An aristocratic mansion, renovated in a cafe & restaurant like many other mansions in Isfahan. A delightful place to relax, drink, and eat meal after visiting the Naghsh-e Jahan square.

Why you should visit it

In the past, building constructed in form of a polygon, due to its similarity to the shape of the saltcellar (Persian: Namakdan), were called the Namakdan mansion. Beyond the special form of the mension & the pleasant atmosphere, the Namakdan cafe serves all kinds of iranian traditional drinks & cuisine in silver trays and dishes.

Special tip

Order one of the watermelones inside the fish pond (Persian: Houz-e Mahi) in the middle of mansion cafe and enjoy it, especially in a hot summer night
