In the past (17th century) Its vast sandy esplanade was used for celebrations, promenades, and public executions, for playing polo and for assembling troops.now you can see the magnificence of this place in the old buildings by walking around it and you can explore it. also known as Meidan-e Emam & Meidan-e Shah,
