Why locals love it
This square is one of the most important attractions of Isfahan and Iran. The main name is Naghshe Jahan (the design of all the world) square. The reason of this name is that the foreigners believed that they can see the shape of the whole world in this square. It is the biggest historical square after a square in Beijing. It is a UNESCO site.

Why you should visit it
The most important monuments in this beautiful square are: 1- Royal (Imam) Mosque 2- Palace of Aliqapu 3- Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque 4- Qeisarieh Portal This square used to be a place for playing polo.

All around the square is full of handicrafts shops such as: Carpet, Copper, Enamel, Calico, Miniature and etc.
