Why locals love it
It has the amazing food mostly "meze" and seafood. It is local (Mediterranean and Turkish) and the food is generally accompanied with the traditional Turkish alcoholic beverage "Rakı" if you wish to try it.The location has basic decoration yet it is right by the sea so you get an exquisite view of the bosporus.
Why you should visit it
It may be the best move to let the waiter or the chef know that you are tourists to get a taste of everything special (yet this may be a downside since they may also try to sell you the most costly food) but if you don't have a Turk to accompany you, I'd say the money is worth the try :)
Special tip
Definitely try RAKI, the traditional alcoholic beverage with the meal. I must warn you that it has a particular taste that you'll either love or hate
