Built in 1640, Çinili Hamam is the oldest hamam in the historical Üsküdar neighbourhood. It was once covered in “çini” (mosaic tiles), hence the name. Unfortunately the tiles were stolen by thieves, though they have since been replaced with blue stone to reflect the original colour scheme.
