Strolling on Galata Bridge... watching the sunset while taking a bite of fish-bread... the sound of the waves, squawking seagulls, noisy tram passing by, whistles of the ferries around like flying bees, clarinet coming from afar and the end of a day with the hustle.
Why you should visit it
The Historical Peninsula is the old Istanbul, and present city of Istanbul a metropolis. Galata Bridge is between these two: connecting Eminonu and Karakoy, bridging the past and the present. My favorite place to see sunset in Istanbul

don't be a passerby here; stop, listen, see and feel the Istanbul around you. Usually crowded with tourists and fishers, but very quiet in the morning
