KronotRop sells a wonderful selection of reasonably priced coffee beans as well as takeaway coffee. With a reputation as the best roastery in the city, it attracts both locals and visitors tired of Caffe Nero and Starbucks. The owner also makes great sweets and cookies.

Why you should visit it
The variety of beans on offer is completely different to what you’ll find at Istanbul’s other coffee shops, and they’re all delicious. I suggest you buy a bag to take home and grab a takeaway cup while you’re there.
Special tip
My favourites are the “Coup d'État Atelier 2” and the Ethiopian “Sidamo Deri Kochoha Guji”.
