Opened in 1969, Sayla Mantı is well-known for its two specialities: “mantı” (a ravioli-like dish served with plain yoghurt) and “çiğ börek” (a deep-fried pastry filled with ground meat, cheese or potato). Both are absolutely delicious!

If you enjoy trying local cuisine in local restaurants, then this place is definitely worth visiting. There’s nothing special about the décor or service, but the food is great. The menu is limited to just mantı and çiğ börek, along with a few different desserts.
Mantı is traditionally served with yogurt and hot butter sauce, though tomato sauce is also available.
