Locals go to Anadolu Kavağı to visit Yoros Castle and to eat at the restaurants surrounding the pier. The castle offers fabulous views of the Bosphorus and Yuşa Tepesi (Joshua’s Hill), which is a shrine that attracts many pilgrims. You can even see where the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea meet.

Why you should visit it
If you want to escape the stress of the city and refresh your mind and soul, buy a Bosphorus tour ticket to Anadolu Kavağı. It’s a pleasant place to wander and enjoy a seafood lunch. Ferries depart from Kabataş and Beşiktaş piers and take just over an hour.
Special tip
It takes 30 minutes to walk from the pier to the castle. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
