Why locals love it
The famous Beyoğlu chocolate bars are produced by Zambo, an Istanbul-based confectionery company established in 1950. They started out making chewing gum in tin boxes, but then switched to chocolate. Their hazelnut chocolate bars were first sold in Beyoğlu, hence the name.

Why you should visit it
These delicious chocolate bars tend only to be found in the small kiosks of Beyoğlu, though Zambo recently upgraded its production capacity and began distributing to other neighbourhoods. Keep an eye out!
