The Schloss ist one of the most important sights in Karlsruhe. A most go! They renovated it last summer. Plus the place in front as well as the Schlossgarten is awsome! Many people get out and meet there. You can see all kind of people doing sports, relaxing, reading.... if you want to try something just go and as if you can participate.
Why you should visit it
The Schloss has a museum. It gives some information about the history of Karlsruhe. Never the less, the most interessting thing is the tower. From on top you have a nice view on Karlsruhe and surroundings. Just climb up the fiew stairs and enjoy the view. :)

Go friday afternoons! The entree is free after two o´clock on friday afternoons.
