Hi, where would you recommend to have breakfast on Saturday morning?

Hey,
Momo Grill has the best breakfast and desserts and food wuality in town (check if its open, because summer time is tricky), also "Vista puode" has more of a traditional lithuanian kitchen with modern touch. More american style all day breakfast you can find at "Holy donut" cafe. And you can always go for old scholl donnuts to everyones faveourite place at "spurgine" - nothing changed there since its opened in 1985. Good coffee at "Green Cafe".

Have a good time :)

Thanks!
Yeah, Agne summed it up quite nicely here. I can add that if you're looking for some porridges, you can always try the nearest hotel restaurant (heard some good things about what "Daugirdas" has to offer, plus it's in a really beautiful location, so you can have a nice walk afterward). "Buon Giorno Taverna" - if you feel like having a nice Italian Panini and legit Italian coffee (they open at 9:00 every day). Hop Doc has a great brunch menu, but they open only at 12:00, so it's not really "breakfast" per se. Wouldn't recommend "spurgine" for breakfast, though, as you will not get enough energy to move on with your day. Although, it's a nice stop-by for some desert.

Oh, and "Motiejaus Kepyklele" is a small gem in the Vilniaus street.

I have mixed feelings about "Vista puode". It's a hit-or-miss. If you're from Latvia, nothing should blow you away over there, and the location is quite depressing atm due to all the construction going on in the Laisves avenue.

Thanks a lot!!
Oh, and if you want to take a peek how Laisves Avenue will look after the reconstruction, you can visit Casa De La Pasta in Laisves al. it's suited in the part that's already "fixed". Plus they had nice eggs benedict. Ok, that all from me, have a pleasant time in Kaunas ;)

It seems that the closest to my airbnb is Casa De La Pasta and Vista Puode :) I have 2 mornings in Kaunas, so I guess will start with Casa, and then we'll see about the second morning :) Thanks again for all the good advice!
Wouldn't recommend PJazz to anyone.

I'm back from Kaunas now. Everything was awesome! Had my first breakfast at Holy Donut, it was perfect! It was all packed full with people so it seems a really popular place at the moment. Second morning i went to Vista puode, it wasnt bad but off course after Holy Donut it seemed a bit old school :) At Green Cafe I had a really good Kenya in Chemex. Hop Doc had a really good tuna steak burger for just 6 eur + good selection of craft beer. At Genys taproom the crowd seemed a bit too poshy but the beer was good. Momo Grill was a bit too pricey (for dinner), so I didnt stay there.
Thanks again for all the suggestions!!
