Fell Jaurutunturi is located in the stunning scenery of Salla. There is an observation tower and a desert hut above the fell. The view of Jaurutunturi opens far to the horizon to Pyhätunturi from the east / southeast. The route to the top is marked with blue ribbons on the trees.
Why you should visit it
The narrow dirt road leading to the fell is not in the best condition. The drivers should be careful on the road. There is no actual parking space at the foot of the fell. There is a gate at the beginning of the path, and the car can be left next to the gate on the side of the route.
Special tip
The rest of the trip was a surprisingly steep but easy path.
