The history of Savukoski is served at the Heritage House Puistola. A museum collection, a changing exhibition and space for events and celebrations in the village of Savukoski. From the small museum shop you can get books, cards and other small souvenirs (payment in cash).

Why you should visit it
Kotiseututalo Puistola is a well-preserved example of a farm in the reconstruction period in Eastern Lapland. Väinö Halonen built the house and its courtyard, after returning from the evacuation in 1947. Puistola was restored and opened as a homeland house in 1998. The ground floor of the main building is decorated in a 1950s style.

Various day events can be arranged at the Heritage House Puistola. The house is equipped. Ask more info. Open during Summer.
