Salla's Reindeer Park
Why locals love it
You will find a cozy café in the main building of the Reindeer Park. The café is a nice resting place along ski trails, toboggan runs, Kuusamontie and light traffic. In the souvenir shop you will find eg. reindeer gloves, reindeer shoes, piss and knives. The café also offers famous fresh monks and other delicacies.
Why you should visit it
Metsähallitus' Forest Hall exhibition is located in the main building of Salla Reindeer Park. The exhibition presents the special features of Salla's nature, the life of old forests and traces of the ice age in the terrain of Salla. In connection with the exhibition, there are also predator showcases. There is no entrance fee to the exhibition.
