Why you should visit it

In the middle of the 17th century, the village has been one of the largest agricultural areas, a marketplace, a district and a transport hub, later the administrative center of Kittilä. The remote small villages of Kittilä, which were created on the shores of former wilderness lakes, have exceptionally survived the destruction of the Lapland War.
