Korsa's Hut

Why locals love it

Korsa has had desert huts since the time of the gold rush in the 1870s. The current log cabin is visible on all my maps. The Hiker’s Desert Huts book gives the age of the hut approximately between 1920s and 1930s. Korsa's Hut was transferred to Metsähallitus in 1967. The cabin was renovated in 2004.
