Why locals love it
Kittilä's Liittovaara is located in the southern part of the municipality. Place names beginning with the union in Lapland are old border places. The landmark of the picture is stacked on top of the danger and has triangular stone inserts pointing in the main air directions at the base.
Why you should visit it
According to the testimony given by the Sámi in the 1687 district, Liittovaara is one of the border points between Kemi and Lapland villages. The border was later called the border of Lapland and Other Finland area.
