Why locals love it

45minutes by bus from JR Sannomiya station, Arima onsen is the Japan's oldest hot spring resort loved by both locals and tourists. Besides taking nutritious Onsen, it's fun to walk nostalgic streets with snacks from local shops.

Why you should visit it

There are about 30 Ryokans( Japanese Inns) in Arima. Some of them let us use only Onsen (no meals rooms included). One of the Inn Goshoboh( ) for example, let us use Onsen from11:00-14:00, ¥1620/person only for weekdays. This is ideal for whoever planning day trip to Arima to enjoy Onsen without staying over night.
