The Walkway route between the villages of Kurtakko, Venejärvi and Teurajärvi, located on the largest and most unique swamp area of Europe. The area provides opportunities for one or more days of hiking or berry picking.
Why you should visit it
There are two nature towers along the route. The hiker can take a break at the fireplaces along the route. The original track was built between the villages of Kurtakko and Venejärvi in 1878. The 11-kilometer track was an important route for officials, postmen, and residents of neighboring villages as well other hikers.
