Why locals love it
In cooperation with the villagers of Nuottavaara and Pasmajärvi, a Dog Sled Trail was created to the landscapes of Nuottavaara. The 27.5-kilometer long trail is maintained by villagers and is also suitable for winter cycling. In January 2019, Kolari's first long-distance Lapland Quest Dog Sleg competitions was held at the trail.
