Wood Jewel’s roots go back to the early ’80s. Owner and CEO Kauko Raatiniemi started the company alongside his main job. In 1995 the company hired its first employee and today the company employs about 20 people all year round.
Why you should visit it
The main raw materials are Finnish birch, reindeer horn and colored veneer birch. There are more than 1000 kinds of products, but the main product is knives. Also known products are wooden cups and wooden jewels as well keychains.
