Why locals love it
During the week the Kantine offers a good lunch deal for locals, working in the industrial area. From Monday- Friday two meals of the day are offered, one with meat, one vegan. While a selection of salads are offered permanently there is a changing menue with special dishes (often seasonal) and one regional dish.

Why you should visit it
For certain the Kantine, located in the orange Neuwerk buidling, is a uniquie place. While it operates as a canteen during the week, it turns into a night club on the weekends and Wednesday nights. You won't meet any tourists, just locals having a lunch break.
Special tip
Tap water is for free. Order a salad as a starter or as a main course, the salad is yum yum.... Main course with meat : 8€ Main course vegan: 7€
