Very central and recently expanded, this self serve eatery is well known among students and serves traditional Polish dishes without the price tag. They even offer monthly discount cards and a prix fix menu with soup, main course, and juice. They also have some of the cheapest priced drinks this close to the Main Square.

Why you should visit it

A great opportunity to try different Polish dishes at a low price. Its an ideal lunch stop on your tour of the Old Town and close to all major attractions. Besides the pierogi, kiełbasa and stuffed cabbage; they also have ribs, fish, and a variety of homemade soups usually changing daily.

Special tip

The place is split into 3 parts: Street front, inside the passageway, and in the cellar. If the top two are busy don't hesitate to go downstairs.

This is the place I go to on my lunchbreaks. Good quality food, low prices, traditional design... and free candies ^_^ You also never wait too long for your meal.
