The Pharmacy Museum on Floriańska is one of the many branches of the National Museum, and it's amazing that it's not more well-known. It's a quirky and interesting place to visit in the centre of the Old Town. This curious museum is a hidden gem, that is well worth a visit.

Taking you from the basement to the attic of an old town house, you can find weird and wonderful medicines, treatments and equipment for curing the sick – including the use of ground human skull to treat headaches. Beautiful displays of jars and bottles from old pharmacies as well as old shop-fronts from across Kraków.
The permanent exhibition takes up all five floors of the building(12 exhibition rooms). Last admission for individuals: 1.45 p.m. Tuesday 5.45 p.m.
