Your guide will meet you at our office, which is located at 8 Plac Szczepanski. From there, you’ll walk through Planty Park to the Main Square where you’ll listen to legends about St. Mary's Basilica and see the Cloth Hall, the Church of St. Adalbert and the Town Hall Tower.
Next, you’ll proceed towards the oldest building of the Jagiellonian University, Collegium Maius, and hear stories about World War II. You’ll then follow the footsteps of Pope John Paul II.
After touring the Old Town you’ll get to try out some of the best desserts in the city on a short rest break.
You’ll then continue into Kazimierz, Krakow’s Jewish quarter. Thanks to centuries of mixed Polish and Jewish history, Kazimierz is one of the most attractive parts of the city. You’ll pass its synagogues and cemetery before continuing on to Wolnica Square, the former market square of Kazimierz, to see the one-of-a-kind Corpus Christi Basilica.
Afterwards, you’ll walk back to the Old Town and take a short break beneath the Wawel Royal Castle – the residence of Polish kings. You’ll then walk up Wawel Hill and visit the Royal State Rooms, the Crown Treasury and Armoury, and the Wawel Cathedral.
