Due to a short stay, me and my girlfriend decided to book both Auschwitz and the Wieliczka salt mine tours in one day, Totally worth it. We were tired at the end of the day but felt like we had gotten good value for our money as well as informative and historical facts. The guide, a local named Conrad, was very helpful and friendly and I hope anyone planning to book this tour is lucky enough to get him as a guide. I sincerely recommend taking this tour, especially if you have little time to spend in Krakow

Description
More than a million Jews and other prisoners were killed in Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II. On this tour you’ll learn about what it was like to live in the camps during Nazi occupation and see, first hand, the brutality of Hitler’s regime.
You’ll visit both Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau and have the opportunity to join guided tours in English or to explore at your own pace with privacy.
The second half of the tour takes you below ground, to the UNESCO-listed Wieliczka Salt Mine, which is more than 800 years old. You’ll be surprised by what you discover in the many chambers of this dark world – including a gothic cathedral and underground lake! Guided tours in English take place every hour (every half hour in Summer) and the route takes about 2.5 hours.

The salt mine tour involves climbing up and down a total of 800 stairs and is not advised for people with mobility issues.
