Just brilliant!
This is no doubt the best way to experience traditional Polish food. Kamila and George are both exceptional and very informative guides.
Delicious Food Tour of Krakow’s Kazimierz District
Delicious , Informative and Enjoyable
Highly professional from start to end. Really an excellent way to get a good feel for local cuisine, and an intro to a cool neighbourhood. Aside from great guide(s) and a fairly small group, the slected venues were top notch with excellent service. Seemed to get the balance between authenticity and quality just right. Even the pace was just right. Nice follow up too. Would definitely recommend for all.

Nice, casual and interesting
It was great to have such an easy going and fun guide with great personal insights from his own and his family's experience. Though it would have been nice to get more info on the history side and how it shaped Krakows society today. Otherwise, it was a refreshing interesting tour, far from the traditional touring experience!

Discover how much he did to save the Jewish people
This museum covers the Nazi occupation of Krakow during World War 2. It shows how Oskar Schindler treated the Polish and Jews he employed and what he did to save as many of them as he could. When you first start your visit there is a cinema where a few of the Schindler Jews tell what he did to help them and save them. You start on the second floor and work your way down. There are lots of displays and videos of people describing what life was like during the occupation. This museum has wheelchair access and you can pay for a guided tour even though all displays have Polish and English descriptions. There is only a slight mention of the movie Schindler's List and that is right at the end near the cafe. A limited number of free lockers are available for you to store bags and jackets during your visit. Purchase your tickets in advance as those people are let in first. If there are any spots left then walk in visitors are allowed. We didn't purchase tickets in advance but got there 20 minutes before opening time so were near the front of the queue and were allowed in. We did hear people saying the museum was full by 11 am the previous day and lined up early this time. The #3 tram will get you from the old town across the river to the museum. Get off at the first tram stop after you cross the river and exit to the right behind the tram. Follow the signs on the street poles for a short 5 minute walk to the museum. Allow around 3 hours to properly visit the museum. Entry to the factory is free on Monday but is closed the first Monday of each month.

First class service, food and drink throughout!
Really enjoyed this. We chose the Vodka tour as we have a mild interest in Vodka enough to warrant the tour.
We were lucky enough to meet Ania who we can't thank enough. It was myself and husband and we thought just the two of us on the tour along might make the evening conversation strained however Ania not only spent her time chatting about the various types of Vodka but also went into extensive detail on each meal that accompanied the Vodka and also gave us an insight into Polish life, family and traditions. We got so much out of the tour it acted nicely as a snippet of Poland in general.

The evening started in a traditional bar where we were served two shots and food. We then moved onto a really unusual shop / bar whereby there were over 60 types of flavoured Vodka to choose from and we were able to try a few. Favourite being Granny Vodka (cherry) and dare I say it Pepper flavoured. We fell in love with the concept of the store and it helped us appreciate the many types and traditions behind it. Next we went to another traditional bar and was served more food - enough to feel full! All traditional polish dishes. Finally we moved onto a similar concept to a Speakeasy bar that was very 'in fashion' and were treated to a choice of coctails to finish the night off.

In total we tried over eight different vodkas and five food types.

This for me was a highlight of the trip and is a must for anyone new to Poland wanting to experience the culture.

We were picked up from hotel at 8am for Auschwitz and Birkenau. We were shown around by a guide with the added advantage of headphones with her delivering her facts of the sites. On the coach you watched a video of the insight of the atrocities of the Holocaust. This was a very moving tour and very well organised. It was quite emotional walking around the various buildings and trying to imagine what awful experiences these prisoners undertook. Everything was original which made the experience so moving. Seeing the shoes and personnel belonging s of the innocent people that were led to their death. We were then taken by coach to the Birkenau camp. I found the feeling of that place different from Austwitz as you see from old photos and films the people getting off the trains and being separated from their loved ones and being sent to different parts of the camp. We were shown the bunk beds where several people had to share them with various diseases waiting for their death. The wash rooms and toilets. So many of the buildings have gone but you still get that feeling of poignant insight into the Holocaust. This took about five hours all in all and very rewarding experience.

Having done a similar tour in other Eastern European countries, we were keen to see the communist district of Nowa Huta and learn more about Kraków under communist rule. Our guide, Blazej, was absolutely brilliant - interesting, entertaining and incredibly friendly. He was really great to talk to and made the whole experience very enjoyable. He even managed not to laugh too hard when I fell over (very embarrassing!)
I was really impressed that, even though I booked the communist tour, they gave my friend a chance to drive the trabant on our request. They were very willing to make the tour work for us. The car was great fun and the sites we saw were interesting and provided a good contrast to the old town where we spent most of our time. It was nice also to sit in an unchanged restaurant, have some vodka and chat about both communist life and the more current problems faced by Poland.
A great morning, a great guide and a great experience. Thanks very much.

Most fun tour of our 7 week Europe trip
We spent seven weeks touring various cities in eastern Europe, and our tour in Krakow with Crazy Guides was one of the highlights of our trip. We took the Deluxe Communism tour, which goes to the communist community, Nowa Huta, which was established by Stalin as the "model" communist community after WW2. Our guide was Kornelia, and she was terrific. She was both knowledgeable and personable, and she spoke excellent English. Kornelia picked us up at our hotel in a lime green Trabant, which was fun to ride in, and our tour included lunch at one of the few "milk cafes" left from the time that the communists were in power. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, and I would highly recommend taking this tour while you are in Krakow. I promise that this is a tour that you will be telling your friends for months after you return home.

Communism Deluxe...best thing to do in Krakow
A friend and I booked the Communism Deluxe tour in late May 2016. We were picked up at our hotel in a green Trabant by the best crazy tour guide ever...Kuba M. He was relaxed, fun to spend time with. Knew how to be informative and fun throughout the tour. You really got to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of Poland during the tough time of Communism. Apart from driving around Krakow in a cool Traby, you went to an old style MilkBar and ate traditional Polish dishes. We visited a typical apartment and drank Polish vodka. If you visit Krakow and have 4 hours to spare, this tour is a must. This was a true highlight of our time in Krakow even though it rained all day. The price of the tour is well worth it. Best money spent during our time in Krakow. Thanks for the memories Kuba, hope to see Krakow again real soon.

Very nice tour with good food!
A big part when traveling is the oportunity to try local food. Knowlegde of what to eat and drink without getting caught in the tourist traps is not always easy to catch though.
This tour really give a very good and interesting view, and fast, of Krakows (and Polands) food culture.
It was a very nice, and good, evening for me and my friends and the guides did a very good job when teaching us about the vidden food gems in Krakow. I definetly can recommend this tour to anyone interested in trying and learni g ord about the food scene in Krakow. Singel traveleres as well as couples or friends. You will for sure get and interesting and fun evening and You will. Ot go home hungry!

Great food tour in Krakow!
This food tour was definitely a highlight of my Krakow trip. It exposed me to different Polish dishes, from the traditional to the modern. It started off in Kazimierz and ended up in a neighborhood a little on the outskirts of the Planty. The tour guide Maurycy was very knowledgable and personable. He made the tour very enjoyable and provided a good insight into Polish culture as well. There is quite a bit of walking and towards the end the pacing of the restaurants are little rushed. The next restaurant was literally across the street so there was no time to digest the previous restaurant's food, but this is probably a minor critique to a great food tour.

Ask at your hotel for a guided tour ( don't be tempted to get a man in a cab taking you there).
Discover Krakow - Day Tours . Were brilliant .
The air conditioned coach picked you up from your hotel at the time they said they would.
Staff spoke perfect English.
Dropped you off at (in our case The Salt Mines). You had a sticker so you knew your group. and which coach to get on after the tour.
Done all the tour tickets ( price was included in picking you up tour admission and dropping you off again).
Arranged your guided tour spoken in your language ( ours was English ).
You felt safe and well looked after.
Very impressed and highly professional.

Fun and Informative Craft Beer Tour
We toured the Krakow Craft Beer scene with Tomek and it was GREAT. Tomek knows way more about beer, craft beer, beer brewing, history of beer, than you can possibly imagine. Being a craft brewer himself, he has a true passion for the subject and truly enjoys sharing his knowledge with the novice tourist. He took my sister and I to very interesting places, with GREAT food and GREAT beer. He tuned in immediately to our beer preferences, and made sure we got acquainted with beers we could really enjoy. He is very pleasant and considerate guide and when offered many great recommendations for food and beer for the rest of our stay. Don't miss this tour!

Excellent Food Tour in Krakow!
The Delicious Poland Food Tour was among the highlights of my trip to Poland. Kamila was an excellent and knowledgable guide who is clearly very passionate about her work and had put in a lot of effort to identify restaurants that offered great examples of the foods she wanted to highlight and brought pictures and stories about other foods and Polish culture. I definitely tried foods and restaurants that I wouldn't have tried without her guidance (like beetroot soup), and I loved all of it! It was particularly helpful as a solo traveler --- I would not have been able to try so many foods on my own. Highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic way to see the city - and amazing guide!
We visited Krakow on a team-building off-site. Kamilla was our guide and she was wonderful, patient and so knowledgeable! She had everything set up for us so that when we arrived to each place we had a designated spot. All the food was delicious and it truly felt like she was taking us to traditional polish spots, and not tourist traps. They honestly felt like some of her favorite places to go in her spare time. The food variety was lovely, they even made adjustments for our vegetarian colleague. Overall it was really great, worth the money and I would highly recommend!

Excellent overview starting with the beginning of WW 2 in Poland
All of the guided tours were filled. We obtained our self guided tickets at the ticket office at the back of the Cloth Hall with a set time to arrive. We were so glad we were not with a guided tour. Everything has written explanations & you can go at your own pace. Actually when there is a group it tends to clog up the path as at some places the path is narrow. The museum is not just about the story of Oskar Schindler. It tells the story of Poland & the Jewish people. Some pictures & sounds were graphic but you leave knowing the truth about the suffering of the people.

Great way to learn about Polish food, and eat lots of it !
My wife and I joined this tour as this was our first time in Poland. We were really impressed with how well Kamila and George had prepared the route, the restaurants chosen, the food and drink, and the huge amount of information they provided. Very nice friendly couple, who are passionate about food, Krakow, and in offering a great tour for their guests. It was a fun and educational time with them, with a large variety of food, Polish Vodka, excellent craft beers, and we left with lots of information and very full stomachs. Very good value and highly recommended.

Wonderful! My favorite tour!
Kamila and George have created a wonderful food tour that is unique and authentic! The foods were all hand made and delicious and the experience of walking around Krakow and learning about the neighborhood and some of the buildings was a joy! We enjoyed so many different foods like pirogies and soups and several other types of food! Be sure to let Kamila know beforehand if you have food allergies or extreme dislike of a particular food and she and George will try to accommodate. If I come back to this beautiful city, I will definitely sign up for this tour again!

Great introduction to Krakow
This is a great tour to do at the beginning of your trip so you can get some insight into the history and influences of Polish cuisine. Kamila and Göksel were great guides, they were very organised and prepared - Göksel was always one step ahead of us to ensure that the next place was ready for us so as soon as we were seated, we were introduced to another dish! Kamila was full of interesting information about not only Polish cuisine but Krakow life in general. Thank you Kamila and Göksel for having the three of us, we were so full we rolled all the way home!
