Ticket line incredibly long. Arrived without pre purchased tickets early afternoon, one ticket window open only, on line probably an hour behind possibly 150people. Took English speaking tour. Guide extremely knowledgeable. Wear sneakers! Cobblestone-like walking surface leads to tired feet. Beautiful, beautiful, carvings etc. very informative and amazing tour. We didn’t eat at restaurant but food looked and smelled delicious. Don’t miss museum tour at end. More to see outside mine when you exit. Leave a little time to walk around outside. Highly recommended.

Description

Dating back to the 14th century, the Wawel Royal Castle complex is by far the most important collection of buildings in Poland. Its historical and artistic value places it among the gems of the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The great halls, churches, state apartments, and courtyards that make up the vast complex each have their own stories to tell.

As you stroll through the royal chambers, our expert guide will bring the castle to life by explaining the turbulent history surrounding the various buildings, and their royal and presidential connections.

Please dress respectfully (cover your shoulders and knees) as you’ll be visiting the Wawel Cathedral. Those who aren’t dressed appropriately might not be permitted entry.

Well organized
The tour covers every bit possible in the available time. It is Well organized and the guide was great! Do take the tour but also do go for a day by yourself! 2 tons of human hair is too much to take in while walking and listening to the guide at the same time. You will need time to ponder... More time than you at first think you will need....
A taste of polish culture
As a tourist, one visits many places of interest. This folk show is another aspect to taste polish culture; beautifully embroided costumes, jolly music, dancing and singers. All of this can be enjoyed in a typical log chalet with an abundance of food and drink. Good value for money. Enjoyed the evening very much, therefore I highly recommend it.
I was very happy with my tour. Punctual, friendly and efficient staff. Happy days😀

Wonderful!
We were well looked after on their wonderful tour. Pickup and drop off were reliable, as was the handover to the onsite guide. The van was clean, roomy, comfortable.
We tour itself was very interesting and we highly recommend it when on vacation in Krakow.
