Description

A little bit of Old Town

Our guide will meet and greet you in our Tourist Information Office at Plac Szczepanski, a 2-minute walk from the Main Market Square of Krakow. From there, you will walk through the Planty Gardens, the majestic Barbican and St. Florian's Gate. Via Florianska St. you will continue the tour to the Main Market Square, where you will listen to the legends about the St. Mary's Basilica, see the Cloth Hall, St. Adalbert's Church and the Town Hall Tower with the head of Eros Bendato beneath.

Upon leaving the Main Market Square, you will proceed towards the University district where we will view the buildings of the Jagiellonian University - Collegium Maius (the oldest academic building in Poland) and Collegium Novum (the rector's office) and hear the stories about WWII. You will then follow the footsteps of Pope John Paul II, one of our greatest countrymen.
