On our tour we will visit a Central Square - a heart of a city of Nowa Huta and see its magnificent architecture. Today however the city center is named after Ronald Reagan - quite ironic. In the next point we are going to discover the reason why the city was build and a real pride of the district - the Kombinat steel factory. Look at a famous sign that was altered after the fall of communism and possibly enter the interiors of former administration buildings. Inside we can find out that many of these rooms are sill looking the same way like 50 years ago. For the most interested customers we can offer a descend into one of a cold war shelter - real HQ shelter in case of an atomic conflict with the west! So top secret etc.
At the end of a tour you might like to take a photos of a Soviet tank outside the Ludowy Theater (People’s Theater). Discover the story of the Arka Pana (Lord's Ark) Church and Chapel of Conciliation and the battle the locals waged to have it built, and finish a tour in our lovely apartment from 50' era.
