The evening consists of two parts. Led by a choreographer, professional dancers will perform Polish folk dances and introduce guests to local traditions and legends. The performance is followed by a two-course regional dinner. After the meal, guests are invited to join in and dance to music performed by professional folk musicians.
The show takes place in the unique atmosphere of “Michalik's Cave” – a favourite hangout of local bohemians. Conveniently located close to college and university buildings, it became a meeting place for writers, artists and journalists soon after opening in 1895. Some relics of the past have remained to this day: walls decorated with paintings, caricatures of artist, a satirical nativity scene and stained glass windows.
