Description

World War II represents one of the most tragic events in human history. A time that sparked the best in some and the worst in others. It was a time of courage and sacrifice, fear and betrayal. It was the moment in history when even a small decision could lead to dire consequences.

Explore with us some of the most controversial corners of the city and take a trip back in time, specifically since September 1, 1939. Experience some crucial moments of the German occupation firsthand, hear about the officers of the Nazi machine who were trialled and executed in the city.

We will enter a time of the 20s and 30s in Nazi Germany to discover the reasons leading to war in the first place. We will learn about the concept of "Blitzkrieg" and the use of synthetic drugs in the German army.

Hear about Hans Frank's role within the General Government and the paintings stolen by the German army. We guarantee that you will not see the city in the same way after hearing these stories.

L
Best tour I have done in Europe.
David ran a terrific tour sharing his unique knowledge of the history of Krakow as we visited sights away from the main tourist hotspots. His passion, enthusiasm and care for his guests was at a level above that I have experienced from any other tour guide. I have done about 40 tours in Europe over the years and this was the best.

If you want a quality experience that you will remember Krakow for take this tour.
David will make your day!
for David
David gave me a wonderful introduction to Krakow on a morning tour. He went out of his way to pack many interesting stops into the tour - places I’d never find on my own. David is a fun guy who speaks perfect English and gave me personal insights to Krakow’s culture, history and food (including where to get great coffee). I followed up on the excellent recommendations he gave me for the rest of my stay.
