Customer feedback about Tours in Krakow

Excellent tour day!
Pick-up service was well informed and arranged. Driver Konrad was most helpfull and kind, and good & safe driver!

Our tour guide in Auschwitz and Birkenau was just perfect! She knows everything there and the arrangements were really smooth. The audio system works perfectly and let's you have some flexibilty for your own interest points during the tour, and you do not miss any information - or the group.

Also similar arrangement was in use in the Salt Mine. All in all, interesting day and impressive sights!!!
Auschwitz & Wieliczka Salt Mine Day Trip from Krakow
The best!
As I was staying just a couple of days in Krakow, I was looking for an option that combined Auswitch and The Salt Mines. That's how I find Discover Krakow.
From the beginning they were really polite and we organized the pick up from the hotel via email (as I mentioned that I didn't have my mobile number abroad). And they confirmed the pick up the day before via email also.
The guide / bus driver was Konrad, who was really polite and spoke English super well!
In site our tour guides were really polite and explained the site really well.
Finally, if anyone is thinking in doing both sites (auswitch and salt mines) on the same day, I would say that this tour is the best. You don't rush at all, you have time for everything. It's a full day full of experiences.
Auschwitz & Wieliczka Salt Mine Day Trip from Krakow
Excellent and valuable tour
Due to a short stay, me and my girlfriend decided to book both Auschwitz and the Wieliczka salt mine tours in one day, Totally worth it. We were tired at the end of the day but felt like we had gotten good value for our money as well as informative and historical facts. The guide, a local named Conrad, was very helpful and friendly and I hope anyone planning to book this tour is lucky enough to get him as a guide. I sincerely recommend taking this tour, especially if you have little time to spend in Krakow
Auschwitz & Wieliczka Salt Mine Day Trip from Krakow
Great way to get acquainted with the city!
We really enjoyed our tour with Aleksander! After doing a ton of walking in cities before Krakow, we really wanted to rest without missing out on our sightseeing. This was an amazing affordable option. We got to see many major sites of Krakow while the guide provided history and significance. It was great to get to decide where we wanted to spend the remaining time we had there while seeing everything too. Aleksander was informative and even provided us with blankets when it got cold.
Krakow in a Day: 3-Hour City Tour by Electric Car
Had a great day!
Conrad was awesome, really helpful and friendly. It was so good being picked up and dropped off at our accommodation. Our vehicle was comfortable and it was good to have the video playing on our way to Auschwitz. Conrad took us to a great restaurant for lunch which was much appreciated. He did a fantastic job hosting us for the day!
Auschwitz & Wieliczka Salt Mine Day Trip from Krakow
Nice, casual and interesting
It was great to have such an easy going and fun guide with great personal insights from his own and his family's experience. Though it would have been nice to get more info on the history side and how it shaped Krakows society today. Otherwise, it was a refreshing interesting tour, far from the traditional touring experience!
Krakow Crazy Communism Tour in Trabant
Well organised and no hassle
Both our driver and guides were very professional and friendy. We had enough time both at Auschwitz and at the salt mines. We also had a decent lunch break. Those who intend to book this tour need to be aware that there is a lot of walking and if you have time maybe you should consider doing them on seperate days.

Auschwitz-Birkenau Group Tour from Krakow

Having done a similar tour in other Eastern European countries, we were keen to see the communist district of Nowa Huta and learn more about Kraków under communist rule. Our guide, Blazej, was absolutely brilliant - interesting, entertaining and incredibly friendly. He was really great to talk to and made the whole experience very enjoyable. He even managed not to laugh too hard when I fell over (very embarrassing!)
I was really impressed that, even though I booked the communist tour, they gave my friend a chance to drive the trabant on our request. They were very willing to make the tour work for us. The car was great fun and the sites we saw were interesting and provided a good contrast to the old town where we spent most of our time. It was nice also to sit in an unchanged restaurant, have some vodka and chat about both communist life and the more current problems faced by Poland.
A great morning, a great guide and a great experience. Thanks very much.
Krakow Crazy Communism Tour in Trabant
1st class tour operator
Our Group of 4 were picked up from our hotel on time arranged , our transport was a clean air conditioned mini bus ,our driver Conrad was polite very keen to answer any questions we had and also played a video on route of the history of Auschwitz, ,Once we arrived at Auschwitz we were grouped up with around another 15 people for the tour which seemed to be the same amount of people in the other tour groups,it took about 1hr 45 to complete the tour once the tour was over ,Conrad then took us to Auschwitz -Birkenau which is only a short drive, we were then taken around by the same tour guide in the same group the tour took about 1hr 15 the tour guide was excellent ,We could not have booked a better tour operator everything was 1st class .The only bad points was to witness the horror of what the Nazis inflicted on the poor souls who were murdered at Auschwitz .

Most fun tour of our 7 week Europe trip
We spent seven weeks touring various cities in eastern Europe, and our tour in Krakow with Crazy Guides was one of the highlights of our trip. We took the Deluxe Communism tour, which goes to the communist community, Nowa Huta, which was established by Stalin as the "model" communist community after WW2. Our guide was Kornelia, and she was terrific. She was both knowledgeable and personable, and she spoke excellent English. Kornelia picked us up at our hotel in a lime green Trabant, which was fun to ride in, and our tour included lunch at one of the few "milk cafes" left from the time that the communists were in power. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, and I would highly recommend taking this tour while you are in Krakow. I promise that this is a tour that you will be telling your friends for months after you return home.

Communism Deluxe...best thing to do in Krakow
A friend and I booked the Communism Deluxe tour in late May 2016. We were picked up at our hotel in a green Trabant by the best crazy tour guide ever...Kuba M. He was relaxed, fun to spend time with. Knew how to be informative and fun throughout the tour. You really got to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of Poland during the tough time of Communism. Apart from driving around Krakow in a cool Traby, you went to an old style MilkBar and ate traditional Polish dishes. We visited a typical apartment and drank Polish vodka. If you visit Krakow and have 4 hours to spare, this tour is a must. This was a true highlight of our time in Krakow even though it rained all day. The price of the tour is well worth it. Best money spent during our time in Krakow. Thanks for the memories Kuba, hope to see Krakow again real soon.

Overall a really good experience
This was a really great way to see the city if you are tight for time. We chose to do this today which was our last day, as we had planned tours the previous days. The guide/ driver was so helpful and so friendly. We unfortunately didn’t get his name, but whoever was driving the 9:30 tour today, was really great!! We purchased tickets separately for Schindler’s factory, which you have an hour in. At times it does feel rushed because you can’t stop and look at everything but you get a good enough feel for the museum. Overall a really good experience I would highly recommend!!
Krakow in a Day: 3-Hour City Tour by Electric Car
If it's the only thing you do in Krakow...
...do this!!!

Fantastic tour: see beautiful countryside, learn things about Nazi culture that you've never heard or read, view the magnificent beauty of hundreds of years of labor in the salt mine.
Our driver picked us up at our door, spoke great English, stopped us at a great restaurant, and dropped us wherever we wanted to go.
One thing: you need a soft schedule that allows for 10 hours OR MORE. There are a lot of people in both locations so the timing is variable.

Highlight of our trip to Krakow
I can't recommend the deluxe trabant tour enough.

Firstly Nova Huta is a really cool and unique place and not something you are going to see in other ex-comunist cities. It is a soviet version of paris rather than a string of tower blocks.

Secondly our tour guide was really great and we absolutely loved driving around in the Trabant. The deluxe tour gave us extra time to explore and my wife fell in love with the Milk Bar pierogis.

The Communist tour was part of a four day trip to Krakow, and was one of the highlights. Marieck our guide and driver was very enthusiastic and knowledgable. Driving around in an old Trabant, learning about life under communism was so interesting and left us wanting to learn more. The lunch at the milk bar was tasty and different. Would definitely recommend this tour and the guides. Thank you for an interesting and enjoyable morning.

Interesting tour exploring life behind the Iron Curtain
I booked this tour for my parents and me (a little bit difficult for an elderly person to squeeze into the back of the Trabant, but not impossible). Our guide Claudia was very informative and personable. We learned a lot about life in Poland under communism; sampled some vodka and received an excellent recommendation for dumplings. The tour gives you an opportunity to see a totally different side to Krakow. I would recommend.

Best tour I have done in Europe.
David ran a terrific tour sharing his unique knowledge of the history of Krakow as we visited sights away from the main tourist hotspots. His passion, enthusiasm and care for his guests was at a level above that I have experienced from any other tour guide. I have done about 40 tours in Europe over the years and this was the best.

If you want a quality experience that you will remember Krakow for take this tour.

Great tour!
The tour was absolutely worth every penny. The guide knew everything about the Nova Huta area, drove the Trabant like a goddess and was also really nice and easy going.

We were shown the lots of parts from area, went to a genuine shop, had a coffe and were invited to a well preserved flat. Everything accompanied with lots of facts from our guide.

Well worth the money!
