A wide street which is the site of many cultural events and festivals on top of being the site of historic synagogues a cemeteries and lined with many restaurants offering anything from traditional Jewish food to other treats of the Middle East.




Why you should visit it
Although its very touristy, many tourists don't realize that this spot is home to Helen Rubenstein's family home as well as the site of many scenes from the movie Schindler's List. Walking along this street you can imagine Jewish life in Krakow in the past which is helped by the Klezmer music played in some of the restaurants.
Special tip
The spot of the finale of Krakow's Jewish Culture Festival with a concert called Shalom on Szeroka. The picturesque Old Synagogue is worth a visit.
