As Malaysia is a multicultural country, non-muslims like to come here to understand the muslim culture better. Also, right opposite there's the national mosque, which is open for tourists. Why you should visit it
Even if you're not really passionate about islamic culture, you will get hypnotized by beautiful white-blue decor, many detailed models of islamic buildings from over the world (have you even seen a chinese or japanese mosque?) and beautiful display of jewellery. Ticket is 12RM, definitely worth the price.

Before leaving, check out the souvenir shop, with interesting books and beautifully decorated postcards and bookmarks.
