Sri Nirwana is true Mamak style dining - the Malaysian way. Even if it looks super busy and there are no seats available, all you have to do is rock up and get the attention of a waiter and he´ll immediately pull up a foldable table and chairs for you. Even for just a drink and a chat with a friend, this kind of places are essentially Malaysian.
Upon sitting, a waiter will spread a piece of banana leaf in front of you. Then another fellow will scoop rice on it. Then another guy will bring 3-bowls of sauces and you choose 1 or all. After that, the ´head´of them all will ask if you want chicken, fish, beef, squid - and you select, then fried, spicy, no spicy, curry, masala. Choice is yours.
Also, ask for rasam which is an aperitif Southern Indian style to ´warm up the stomach for digestion´. Open 24 hours.
