Description
Tour starts at 06:30 by picking up guests from hotels in Kutaisi. The first stop is in Surami where we taste Georgian sweet bread “Nazuki”. They show us how it’s made and give us some to test. On the way we need to change vehicles 2 times – in Khashuri and in Natakhtari. The first place we visit is Ananuri castle. We have one hour to explore medieval castle with churches and fighting towers. From the castle there is amazing view on Zhinvali water reservoir. After excursion in complex we are heading to the north. On the way we stop at Viewpoint of Gudauri. Driving few kilometers through Caucasus mountain range we arrive in Stepantsminda and stop for lunch. After satisfying lunch we visit Holy Trinity Church of Gergeti. On the way back we change vehicles 2 more times and arrive in Kutaisi by 22:00.
