Hossa lies North of Suomusselkä, you can enjoy Hossa's Nature Parks beautiful nature. Hossa is as pretty as Oulanka, only in Suomussalmi. The Hossa Visitor Center was established 1979, center has two large touch screens showing the National Park and its services. Hossa is really lovely day destination from Koillismaa area.
Why you should visit it
Hossa lies right at the municipalities Kuusamo and Suomussalmi border. On Kuusamo side Hossa has the magnificent Julma-Ölkky, rest of the wonders lies on the Suomussalmi side. Absolute summer/fall destination. Hossa's National Park has lots of wisdom of old ways of hunting and fishing as well prehistorical sight to see at the Värikallio Cliff.
