Why locals love it

The HS142 hill is located in the center of Ruka International Ski Stadium. There is a maintenance and chronicle building with social facilities for the jumpers and their support teams. The official record for the Big Mountain is Eric Frenzel's jump of 148.5 meters in the United World Cup in 2010.

Why you should visit it

Ruka's Big Mountain is the world's largest year-round jumping jump. For those waiting for their jumps, there is a warm-up space at the top of the tower, which can be reached by the downhill and downhill elevators. The big jumping hill is located right next to the Karhunkierros Trail in summer, so it is nice to visit the scenery.
