Finland's Most Beautiful Waterfall
Why locals love it
Kiutaköngäs is located a kilometer from the Oulanka Center, and is such a magnificent nature site and one of the most spectacular as well photograhpic waterfalls in this Oulanka Area. In fact, Kiutaköngäs is not a uniform waterfall, but a series of steep rapids, where the water masses of the river fall down, 325-meter stretch, about 14 meters.
Why you should visit it
The highest and first falls of Kiutakönka are the largest of the individual stairs, and the water drops at least four meters in the short distance. This drop is followed by a smaller jaw in some distance, after which the water winds up rushing its way into the backwater.
Special tip
The destination is quite easy to reach.
