Kujala is a large reindeer farm and a small reindeer tourism and family business amid the most beautiful nature of Kuusamo, near Rukatunturi. In winter, we enjoy memorable moments with reindeer, and hopefully in the future also longer trips to the nearby nature. Reindeer are part of our family and a big part of our daily lives.
Why you should visit it
The profession of reindeer herder is often passed down from father to son, also in this family. Kujala reindeer herd has found its place in the center of Ruka-Kuusamo as early as 1860, when Juho Petteri Karjalainen founded the farm, Kujala stuck to the family by the place.
