Why locals love it

Jalmari Palosaari founded the farm in 1920, when he built the first log cabin. During World War II, he lost the entire herd, the surviving reindeer he gave to his brother. In 1963, Jalmari's son Reino started farming on the farm, and after a decade he brought reindeer back to the scenery. Since then the farm has passed on in the family.
