Beautiful park commemorating glory of World War II heroes and victims of Holodomor of 1932-1933. Here you will find an alley of Glory and obelisk of 27meters high with the Eternal fire that honors great deeds of unknown soldiers. And since 2004 the park also locates a memorial to the victims of big Famine that took away millions lives of Ukrainians

But beside its historical value the park also boasts great panorama to the Dniper, left side of Kiev city, metro bridge and wide spaces of woody slopes. And the golden domes of Kiev Pechersk Lavra monastery are seen from here too.
The park looks beautiful not only in the daytime but also after sunset when city is illuminated with city lights.
