Hi! I'm travelling to Ukraine in July and I'm staying in Live.Here.Hotel. What's the best and the easiest way to get there from the Boryspil Airport?

Another question: Where can I buy tickets for Metro and is there anykind of "day tickets" or do I have to by a singel ticket whenever needed?

Thank you so much for your answers!

The best way from Boryspil to city center is the taxi. I suggest you to download some app and you will be sure of the service and the price! You can try Uklon or Uber as well.

About Metro tickets you can buy abon for cheap price

Enjoy this beautiful city ;)

Dear Anu, unless you can read Ukrainian and/or Russian Cyrillic letters, I suggest that you just take a taxi or Uber from the airport to your hotel. Your hotel is centrally located in a nice and quiet lane but there are no meaningful public transit stops in the IMMEDIATE vicinity, and you'll have to walk about 600m uphill or 1200m downhill from the nearest Metro station.

Hi Anu. All previous answers were very helpful and I understand your concerns. as tried to find how to buy ticket to skybus online and it is not easy) here the buses, that Maximilian mentioned, but if your arrival is during the day, it is really the best and cheapest way to get to Kiev is to take a shuttle bus http://skybus.kiev.ua/en/. Do not be shy to ask driver abour free seats, almost always some are availiable and you can pay directly to driver or in the airport office http://skybus.kiev.ua/en/contacts.html# (I see they have 24/7 working manager there). So bus ticket will cost you near 1.5 euro or even less if you will take ticket to Kharkivska metro station (first stop in Kiev). Metro ticket costs approx 15 cents ))) so you do not need to buy any special passes. From metro Kharkivska is direct line to Zoloti vorota metro station, which is really close to your hotel, the closest one is Maydan Nezaleznosti (but there you will need to change line from green on Zoloti Vorota to red- Teatralna) and pass one more station.http://www.visitkievukraine.com/transport/metro/map/ Enjoy your stay in Kiev!

Hi, Anu!

You can buy Metro tickets in the cash desk situated inside the each metro station. There is no 'day tickets'but you can buy plastic transport card at the same cash desk where normally tokens are sold and put money on that card in order not to buy tokens all the time.
Also you can try to pay by your bank card but only if it`s with Pay Pass:)

Hi! First of all concerning the airport transport to kiev, I would recommend taking a bus (about 50 grivnas) or as another variant call an Uber cab, Do not, go with the drivers that offer you taxi from the airport their fares are 2 to 4 times high, for example, Uber is about 250 and airport taxi is minimum 400 grivnas.
With the metro it's quite easy, there is a single pass for one entry, you are giving a token, and your good to go) I'd be happy to answer any questions if you have!
