This tour is the best option for travellers who are first time in Kyiv and would like to know more about the history of the city and Ukrainian culture.
The tour will begin at the Independence Square or Golden Gate and end at the Konstraktova Square (Podil area)
Places which are included:
- Golden Gate - the central Gate of Kyiv in Kyivan Rus times.
- St. Sophia Cathedral - the oldest orthodox cathedral in Ukraine, which survived till this times
- St. Michael Cathedral - a beautiful orthodox cathedral built a bit later than St. Sophia church.
- Tithes Church ruins
- St. Andrew Church and Andryivskiy Descent (known as the Montmartre of Kyiv, one of the most ancient streets in the capital, it connects 'Upper' and 'Lower' parts of the city)
