Description

The tour begins with a walk along the Alley of Glory to a communal grave of soldiers who died in 1939–1945. You'll see the eternal flame that symbolises the immortality of our heroes. Here, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view to the Dnieper River and its left bank.

Next, we’ll visit the Memorial to Holodomor Victims and learn about the Law of Three Spikelets.

We’ll then visit the UNESCO-listed Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra – the biggest, oldest and most beautiful monastery in Ukraine. Its walls are infused with holy belief and immense history. Through the centuries it was a site of and participant in numerous political, cultural and scientific events.

Here, you’ll visit cave complexes and ancient churches, some of which were built in the 12th century, and reach the highest point of modern Kyiv – the Great Lavra Bell Tower.

After visiting the Microminiature Museum, we’ll walk over to the World War II Museum and see the Motherland Monument.
